The repetition describes a unique set of situations or events and can only be understood by contrast with generality. Art and technology are often sources of repetition as no artistic or technological use of an element is equivalent to other uses.
Digital art based exclusively on technological support pushes this quality to a certain limit by bringing artistic production close to the movement rhythm of capitalism; Digital art and Net Art completely removes the replica altogether by translating it into another moment and place, in this context in the world-wide-web network.
The „Open Patterns” exhibition proposes an artistic and meditative exercise from the perspective of three types of artistic production based on rehearsing theme inspired by the realm of digital reality and technological engineering.
