A.L.B. - Adreea-Lorena Bojenoiu - was born in 1989 in Brașov (RO). She lives and works in Craiova (RO) and Bucharest (RO). She completed her studies in Cluj –Napoca (RO) at the University of Arts and Design in 2012 and obtains a Master’s degree from the National University of Arts, Bucharest (RO) in 2014. In 2010 she receives a scholarship offers by the Academy of Visual Arts in Karabuk, Safranbolu (TR). In 2013 she participated at the exhibition Transform in Art Education at the Brâncuși Hall in the Palace of the Parliament, Bucharest (RO). She was the recipient of the pArte de Arte prize in 2014 with her works, and the residency of the Cultural Fundation Criterion in Bistrița-Năsăud (RO). In 2014, she took part in the exhibition StartPoint Prize at the VictoriaArt Center, Bucharest (RO), she is one of the participants in Mobile Biennale as part of the group project: The tour of Oltenia in Seven Days, organized by the Centre for Contemporary Culture – Club ElectroPutere, Craiova (RO). She holds a performance in 2015, Skinned Painting, at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC), Bucharest (RO), during the exhibition Dispositions in Time and Space. In 2015 she participated in the exhibition Searches and definitions that took place at the Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Bucharest (RO), and took part in the Art Encounters biennale, Timișoara. She staged her first solo show in 2015 at the Suprainfinit Gallery in Bucharest (RO). In 2016 she takes part of the artist-in-residence programme offered by Club ElectroPutere, and takes part of the group show from the ElectroPutere Gallery.
